Bake & Bond

Be prepared! Keep a bottle of Sculpey® Bake & Bond on hand at all times.

Bake & Bond is an adhesive that adheres clay to clay, whether the clay is baked or unbaked, making it the perfect tool for fixing ClayPaws® prints. If you have a broken, baked ClayPaws® print, or baked ClayPaws® print with an incorrect name or date, and cannot make a new print, Bake & Bond will help you make the repair or the correction.

Watch our instructional videos below to learn how to repair broken prints and to correct names and dates in baked clay!

Please note: To make the repairs as directed, you will also want some extra ClayPaws® Clay of the same variety on hand, as well as some "very fine" or "super fine" sand paper. Also, Bake & Bond requires baking to cure. You will need to bake or re-bake the print after making the repair.
