How Do I Choose the Right Clay for Me? Our original white and terra cotta clay share the same consistency and ease of use. Simply make your choice based on overall color preference or desire to decorate. (Note: White clay may provide a better foundation for our colorful charms, ribbons, paint, etc.) Our Soft white clay is quicker to knead and soften. The extra-soft consistency also makes it easier to make an impression, especially with puppies, kittens, and very small pets. Many of our customers prefer this formula; however, some feel it picks up dirt more readily and that, overall, it makes a lighter-weight final paw print. (Note: because this clay is so soft, please use our Circle Mold for best results.)
